Erhart–Stechschulte Insurance was established by Thomas Erhart in 1953 in Kalida, Ohio. The third-generation agency offers personal and commercial insurance as well as life insurance. As an independent agency, we help people across the state find affordable and reliable insurance through a variety of trusted carriers. Because we can choose from different carriers we can find the perfect combination of coverage and price to fit your needs. We do the shopping and comparing to save you time and money!

Our devoted principal agent is Craig Schmenk, who has more than 22 years of insurance experience. Craig’s main focus is on helping customers, whether they have simple questions about policies, need to add or remove coverage, or have a claim to file. No matter the problem, large or small, Craig and the other agents’ main priority is to provide you with the security you need with the right insurance policy. Our agents do their best to make sure every customer is fully informed and educated about their insurance coverages.
